Australian poker player drinks 42 beer in one poker session
The guy in the picture is not the guy from the story, he probably looked worse than this after 42 beer..
We came across a post about a whole different case of record poker sessions. We are not sure if the player has set a record, but we have to acknowledge the man for trying. An anonymous Australian player drank an unbelievable 42 bottles of beer during a 17 hour long session at the Star Casino in Sydney. Needless to say, the player was a bit drunk when the casino closed its doors at 7AM. The man was unable to stack his chips, which we can imagine after more than 40 beers.
Funny thing is that drunk people are not allowed to gamble in Australia. So when the local authorities were warned the Star Casino got a $10,000 fine. The official response to the authorities by the casino was even funnier than the incident: “The nature of poker is that players tend to be very controlled in their facial expressions and body movements. This level of control means that many of the visible signs that a person is affected by alcohol may be minimised.”
Right……
What’s the most you have drank during a poker session?
