Daniel Negreanu back on the high stakes

Now the World Series of Poker 2010 have ended, Daniel Negreanu is going ‘back to the grind’. Before this summer, Daniel tried to get a grip on the high stakes online. He played a lot of hands of 6-max No Limit Hold’em on the $100-$200 limits.

Negreanu got a lot of bashing on the internet forums. Anonymous people were saying he was a huge fish, played his hands superbad etc. Now as you can read in his latest blog post, he holded himself quite well. No spectacular results, but he did better than a lot of people expected.

Untill this moment ‘KidPoker’ has played 10,000 hands on the 100/200 and now he is aiming for 50,000. The reason for this number is that it is a popular saying under the online high stakes community that you can only tell after 50K hands, whether or not someone is a really good player.
