Shannon Elizabeth signs with Carbon Poker

Last week we wrote about Shannon Elizabeth ripping off players in her home game by asking huge amounts of rake. This week we have some other news about Nadia from American Pie: Elizabeth has just signed with Carbon Poker, the biggest skin on the Merge Network.

Carbon Poker’s Peter Hampton in a press release: “We’ve been on the hunt for a face for our brand who is a recognized star and also a respected member of the poker community. Shannon easily meets both criteria and offers a creative edge that we’re thrilled to have on board. We’re launching several promotions that will involve players playing against Shannon and getting to know her both inside and outside of poker.”

The actress-turned-poker pro has already been sponsored by several online poker sites, but all for a short period of time. Her biggest accomplishment in poker is her semi-final place in NBC’s Heads Up Poker Championship in 2007, where she defeated players like Barry Greenstein and Paul Wasicka in her Heads Up matches.

Elizabeth will share her thoughts on the CarbonPoker blog and there are also plans for video content.
